I'm actually enjoying it a good deal. Fun to watch them work on their craft, figure it all out. Worth watching. The points/etc system is stupid but it's still cool.

I caught a little of the second episode? Whichever one had teams assigned to the coaches. They spent all this time on the episode establishing that one student doing a really generic cocky reality TV heel character didn't get along with Bubba but he still might end up randomly drawn to Bubba's team? Wow, what drama! I've seen enough reality TV to know how they edit things, but it felt really forced even for a wrestling show and turned it off when they went to commercial on that.

I just assume he wound up on the team, eventually won Bubba over, and now they're cool.
I'm watching it for what it is, a better version of tough enough with more focus on the actual wwe superstar portion of things rather than just seeing who can do what physical activity the best.

As for BJ, he got injured early on so they had to replace him. But he came back a few times since in what was clearly a scripted feud with Bubba where BJ would try hanging around the legends during the matches and getting into confrontations with Bubba over it.

Long overdue for both these men.

Now, get Cindy Lauper in ASAP Paul, Nick or Dwayne!

That's the tag team for this year. Even though I agree that they deserve to be in, I was really hoping for Demolition. Maybe next year.

Seth Rollins explains the story of how Stone Cold Steve Austin led to him and Becky having a daughter.

Quote:
First show in WWE, post-COVID, post-shutdown, 3:16 RAW. Customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring. At the time, hottest thing in professional wrestling, my lovely incredible wife, the man, Becky Lynch, she happened to break open one, two, three, four cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of RAW."

That night, she was like, ‘You know what? I think it’s time I take some time off to have a baby.’ Don’t know if she’d make that decision if it wasn’t for Stone Cold, Steve Austin. So absolutely. Hell, yeah. Slam them back. Thanks, Steve.”

So Austin got her drunk and she had a baby with Seth?
