January 21st, 1990.... The Royal Rumble. The Ultimate Preview. The 1990 Rumble Match was the first encounter between Hogan & Warrior leading up to The Ultimate Challenge at Wrestlemania 6.

Fun Facts:
- Tony Schiavone was commentator alongside Jesse Ventura which ended up being Tony's last PPV working for WWF before becoming the voice of WCW.

- A young Shane McMahon was a Ref outside during the Rumble Match.
