Her presence is something the women’s division didn’t have. She adds something.

Gable didn’t add anything in the ring that they don’t already have and it’s not like Olympic wrestlers are household names so he’s not worth keeping around on celebrity alone either.

She's an attraction at least and does put in the work.

Reports over the years weren't so positive on Gable or his work ethic.

At one point they did seem to think it mattered a lot, but clearly not anymore.

Re: WWE Releases

Reports coming out about Gulak which makes him sound almost like a Hardcore Holly type of guy, which if it's true, good thing he's gone.

Apparently he's gotten complaints from people he's worked with, some saying he's intentionally gone after real injuries people have during matches, reinjuring some too, and then "bullying" people into not reporting it (I'm guessing reporting means not to say he was the one to injure them, but rather just say they're injured).

And HBK/NXT management have reprimanded him before for an incident.

Seems the Rousey stuff could've just been the "public excuse" needed to not keep him around. HHH confirms he's not fired but his deal wasn't renewed.

As usual, internet digs up stuff instantly and one thing they found was a Cody Rhodes interview from years ago where he wasn't exactly praising Gulak either, but funny enough one line he said about Gulak was him acting like a "grizzled old vet" and now this stuff comes out about him where he's apparently doing things you'd have expected from people in the 90s or 00s.

When they can take advantage of it, sure. But obviously he’s not at a level they thought they could use him to do that. So in 2024 he has little name value for them to use, no presence as a character, (apparently) limited in-ring skills, and they have a warehouse full of young guys they can plug in instead. He’s an easy cut.

Well we have no way of knowing what exactly is accurate in wrestling news so to cover all our bases:

If it’s true he was targeting injuries, **** him.
If people are making this up, **** them.

Not exactly.

He's still part of his Legends deal, but just not contracted as a commentator anymore (that deal WWE let expire).

I'm surprised he was even being paid as a commentator still. Makes me wonder if that was Coles backup plan if McAfee couldn't come back?
