Lashley took out Big E AND Roman Reigns with spears. Now if WWE kept the Hurt Business together and we could have a War Games style match between The New Day, The Hurt Business & The Bloodline.

Re: WWE Raw & Smackdown September Thread

Some nice stuff on this week's RAW for sure. I was against the idea of the Bloodline being on RAW but there was a story being told all night. Great opening match between the New Day and the Bloodline. Roman picking up the win for his team was just the beginning. Orton/Styles have fought each other many times but they never fail to put on a great match. Looks like their tag team feud isn't over yet either. Nia Jax is usually protected by the WWE but wow, she took a clean lost to Shayna Bazler. And took a beatdown from Bazler post match. Wonder if this means Nia is out for a little while.

Vince be like, "let's put those Latinos together in a tag team!" Thats right, two Latinos who got a lot of screentime during the Performance Center era of RAW in Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo are tag teaming now. Got to squash another tag team to get put on notice. We got new Women's Tag Team Champs. Who never saw that coming when Ripley and Cross teamed up? Flair/Bliss segment was fine for what it was. I think Jeff Hardy being added to the US Title stuff is so he can eat the pinfall. That main event match was awesome though. PPV quality match. Everyone got to look good here even though the Tribal Chief won. Roman continues to be book strong its insane.

Carrillo and Garza are cousins IRL, so I'm more surprised they waited this long to team them up.

Plus, RAW could use more tag teams and hopefully this gives both guys a solid direction (instead of being pine eating machines).

Humberto and Angel are a lot more believable and further along as talents than Dominik Mysterio, yet haven't gotten 1/10 the opportunities (for obvious reasons).

Never been a fan of Charlotte Flair, but damn that is/was the best promo she's ever cut on someone.

Legitimate comeback - although a bit obvious - by Alexa and they both killed it. Great job by both ladies.

They could always have a new Hurt Business......

Put in Keith Lee in it too, now that would be fun.

I hope Wargames makes its way to the main roster. Not as a gimmick PPV where we know it's coming the same time every year, because then you get people shoehorned into those feuds.

Would be fun having a Wargames match on the main roster, and Regal is the one to announce it, because nobody does it better.

I know people don't really like Nia, but I thought her "overselling" of that beatdown was great. So many times you just see someone get beaten up and lays there (with their eyes opened half the time), but Nia was reacting like she legitimately got her body broken. Things like that makes you feel like the beatdown was way more brutal.

This really was one of her best promos in her entire career. I loved the entire exchange. Shots fired both ways.

*Fans woo for Charlotte*
Bliss: That's not even your thing!
Charlotte: Oh, you really want to be talking about being original?

But I agreed with basically everything Charlotte said which is crazy to think. But Bliss does need to ditch this gimmick and go back to the old Bliss. This gimmick has made no real sense since WM.

Brock Lesnar's new look is both amusing and badass at the same time don't you think?

Re: WWE Raw & Smackdown September Thread

This main event for Smackdown could be a star making moment for 'Tez.

Say what you will about WWE's "stale, paint - by - numbers" style but they have done a more than admirable job as far as diversity/"representation" at the top of the card.

Re: WWE Raw & Smackdown September Thread

Montez was a little bit sloppy and too sped up at times, but that was still a good match. Hopefully he'll get another big opportunity again soon, but can be a little more polished with his stuff.
