WWE 2K15 Could Be Delayed Due To CM Punk Lawsuit.

The game being delayed had nothing to do with Punk.

I still want it to be known that I'm still holding the belief that the game was delayed because 2K came to an agreement with Punk and pushed back the release date to get him properly scanned for the game.

And the reason the 360/PS3 version wasn't delayed is because they didn't need a full body scan for last generation.

CM Punk suing for royalties reminds me of the interview Jim Ross conducted with Stone Cold where basically stone cold said when he got pissed and left the money dried up a lot quicker than he expected and he lost a lot of cash. cM Punk seems to be in the same situation where he is still pissed at the WWE for not making him "the guy" essentially so instead of swallowing his pride like Stone Cold eventually did he is trying to sue.

As for the actual legal matter, it doesn't matter regardless whether or not the superstar made his own gimmick. The WWE owns the right to promote and sell your gimmick in any fashion they See fit.

Question: if the rumor of Punk possibly joining TNA comes to fruition, would that force WWE to remove Punk from the upcoming game? I'm not knowledgeable at all when it comes to legal matters like this

I wouldn't worry because those rumors are 100% false.

Theoretically, it would have to be something that is worked out before he signed his theoretical contract to theoretically join TNA. Theoretically he would theoretically have the same type of deal that Hogan had with 2k for last year's game, since he was with TNA when he was announced for the game.
