Match Rating System in 2K17

I came across this YouTube video with some gameplay. Look in the upper left hand corner, it looks like they added a match rating system. I hope this is somehow implemented into Universe Mode.

That star rating was one of the first things I noticed when gameplay footage was released. This is something the game has needed for years - a way to represent that the point of a wrestling match isn't to win, but to put on a high quality and entertaining match. Spamming one move over and over may win a match, but in IRL wrestling, that gets you fired, unless you are crazy over like Hogan or Cena.

Really glad the match rating system is extended out of MyCareer. The only thing i hope is that it's not one sided again and that they take account the CPU or other user. It takes two to make a match 5 stars.

So the match rating has been in MyCareer mode? I NEVER play that mode, so I wasn't aware. Thanks!

Looks like it doesn't take into account the cpu moves. Hopefully they can change that because it shouldn't just be about the user. Also I think this will be in Universe mode.

Yeah it was in MyCareer mode last year but it was one sided and only took into account User moves. So you had to do all the work when it came to making a 5 star match.

I've been wanting the match rating system back since Smackdown vs Raw 2007 lol. This is all I really wanted. I am happy.

It motivates you to put on quality matches and it makes you continue your universe. I haven't done a full universe since SvR 2007, no joke. I played GM Mode to death and that's all I played because of the 5-star rating system. 2K17 will be played to death by me and will be worth every penny ( I pre-ordered the NXT Edition).
