Madden 22 or 21?

Left my thread write up on my work PC, but wanted to share some under-the-hood info I believe M21 gamers will love.

Applied Knockout Penalty via Catch Rating
50=100%
60=90%
67=80%
70=70%
88=60%
95=50%

***Does not mean how often catch is knocked out, but how much of a penalty is applied against the Ball Friction at the Catch Point.

Lower Rating = less Friction = greater ball movement outcomes at Catch Point
Higher Rating = more Friction = less ball movement outcomes at Catch Point

The difference between…
- Low = ball going “through” hands, con’t it’s path
- High = ball hitting hands, stopping & dropping immediately

Browns Donovan Peoples-Jones at 70 Catch produces some nice natural through hands/bobbling animations with/without contact.

Looking for some gameplay feedback surrounding editing player POS ratings to Under-the-Hood Thresholds/Variables/Rating Ramps levels.

Console: NG Xbox Series X
Madden Version: M21
Gamertag: KickNDaPantzer
Gameplay Sliders: Default to keep focus on the ratings themselves.
Difficulty Level: Try all three, Pro/All-Pro/All-Madden

***There are Stamina Threshold edits, so do test the Fatigue Slider at 100
- esp as it relates to backups subbing in/out & gameplay impacts.

I have a thread write-up explaining everything & why, but want more eyes to see if it's worth continuing and also before submitting any findings to Clint for any possible M23 Sim Play Style considerations/tweaking, as much of this under-the-Hood aspects will remain the same.

- review the ratings within the interaction

The two weak teams are Giants and Lions


***Lastly, don't be concerned with OVR's, this is a 100% focus on Gameplay, Team & Player Differentiation via these settings.

If you can Twitch or Stream, by all means do, so others can view/chime in concerning what they would prefer to see play out.
- maybe there's an edit that can achieve it

So, after reading this thread, I had downloaded Madden 21 on PS5 via EA Play and was having fun playing it. Today, I go to boot it up, and it’s locked. It won’t let me play it. It says my license can’t be verified. Yet, I can still play 22.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, I had it happed the other day. If you to the store and select to "download" the game, it will allow you to play it again. Not sure why it happens, but that should fix it for you.

All - I’m on ps5 and I just got a new copy of 21.

My question is should I patch it (obviously fully at this point) or leave it alone and play OOB?

Digital or disk?

Digital save a copy on external

Disk you can try both, but delete and reinstall if you want to do OOB
