Continuing my Nets MyGM...

Well, after much deliberation and contemplation, I decided to pull the trigger on a deal involving Andrei Kirilenko.

I wanted to maintain that "SF that can guard the low post as well" role that Kirilenko gives me (to help stop guys like LeBron, Granger, Melo, and Durant), but I needed somebody that could provide me with a little bit better outside shooting.

Now, player wise, I absolutely love this deal. I think it's exactly what I need to bring my team all together for my run this season... here it is:

Knicks get: Andrei Kirilenko
My Nets get: Metta World Peace and Cole Aldrich

Aldrich means nothing to me. Heck, I might even let him go. The only reason he was in the deal was to make the $$$ work.

The only problem I have with this deal is that I am basically "helping" the Knicks. I'm giving them someone.

I just had to pull the trigger, though. I needed to nip the "disgruntled player" thing right in the bud by getting rid of AK47 before he could get too angry and Metta is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Fired by Utah now with Milwaukee. Im dedicated to playing all 82. Competition is fierce but I can make the playoffs. Built up a nice squad through the draft (couldn't get any free agents)

Probably trust at or near 0. My coach resigned on me when it got real low.

Two horrible seasons in a row. I had a plan and the plan was to tank it to get the first pick. I guess the owner didn't see my vision

I'm going to start my MyGM soon. What do you guys like better... Playing with a good team like the Clippers lets say, and adding some pieces to the squad. Or rebuild a team like the Cavs?

I used to be the type of person that would only rebuild teams. I would NEVER pick a good team.

Here's the problem I found with that theory, though... If I'm looking to rebuild, that means I normally want to get to the end result as quickly as possible. That leads to a lot of simming. That means I'm not actually playing and enjoying the game as much.

What I found myself doing was simming a lot of games, getting to that "end result" and then starting all over.

Two weeks ago I started a MyGM with the Nets (a "good" team) and I've played every single game so far. It's the most fun I've had in a long time.
