The funny thing is, for almost two years now, people have talked about how 2k5 still looked better than, or as good as, Madden does on next gen systems. Now we have a new 2k football game, with graphics that are BETTER than 2k5, and suddenly they aren't next gen... doesn't something seem a little backwards here?

I remember one real-time injury on NFL Gameday. If you use the sprint button too much ...your guy would start to run funny like he pulled a hamstring.

I don't reply to very many posts, i read and digest the info that is shared here in this forum, it's an advantage for all to get a heads up on features and what you can and cannot expect from this particular game, with differing views & opinions on what they like & dislike in the game. I for one am looking forward to the new 2K football offering, in the end the owners of the game will be the final judges on what are their likes & dislikes of APF2K8. I'm not expecting perfection.

I do expect to have fun with this game, if it plays somewhat better or a lot betters than 2K5, it can't be all bad. Constructing your team with the style of football you want to play from an offensive and defensive philosophy of your choosing, with some legends to help you achieve your goal, seems like it will be fun to me at any rate. Will the game have that wow factor to keep you playing? Only time will tell. But none the less, i will be on board for this game.

I think the other way what is next gen if it not graphic and I mean gameplay can be done on any pior systems. I thought the old genesis of hard ball played great.
