Bah... I'm not taking impressions from someone who says Madden every 5 seconds. This game is not supposed to be Madden. This game is All Pro Football and it's going to do what it's going to do.

While there is no doubt that this guy is a Madden lover, I will give him the credit he deserves. He did point out legitimate strengths and gave credit to the things he liked. A couple of times he said that 2K did things better than his beloved Madden, I'm surprised his fingers didn't fall of while typing those statements.

Comparisons of the two games are inevitable, but he didn't need to mention Madden almost a dozen times in an article that was supposed to be about AP2K. That was my issue with it.

No clue what the site covers, but get used to outlets comparing Madden and APF. That's no stopping it from happening since they are both competing for gamer dollars, and both are still football games. No use in whining about it.

Damn Madden came up alot in that All Pro article, lol. Can't wait for this game. Couple more hours fellas!!!!!

Guys, he wasn't writing this for you. He was writing for the SG membership, which is mostly Madden fans. Of course he was going to approach the game from a Madden fan's POV.

Imo that was an extremely fair article. He praised many elements of the game, even going so far as to say that the animations were superior to Madden's. The few criticisms he did have were, imho, accurate. That's all anyone can ask of an impression piece.

when reviewing a football game, you compare it to real football.
you dont compare how realistic a game is based on ANOTHER football game.
