I am the luckiest man in the world. My wife is as big a football nut as I am. When we met back in college, it was our long romantic talks about the Denver Broncos that made me fall in love with her. Her family had season tickets to the Broncos up until just before she met me (my buzzard luck). For her birthday, we got 40 yard line first section seating for the Broncos/Raiders game, week 2. She has been in my fantasy football league for the last 4 years, winning the darn thing the first year. Sundays would not be shopping time, its Sunday ticket time until the Broncos play. What is my point? If this scenerio comes about, comment to your wife that you know this guy whose wife yada yada yada, or say hey hon, would you like to join our fantasy league?

You sure she didn't have a sex change! J/K My wife was the same way about baseball, until we married then she was no longer a fan. When we were dating she collected baseball cards. I will say one thing, come on guys it is just a game! lol If you are losing sleep or turning down sex, you need some real help.

Not that I know of, but that imo isn't worth $60. I was expecting more this year but I think by next year it will be a much better product.

What's up guys. Just wanted to check-in. It's almost 4pm EST & right now my thoughts are again on APF. I've been itching to get home, because It's time to create another team(been also checking out player profiles @ sportsgamer basically all afternoon from work) for a league I'm joining.

My mind is scrambled because there are so many different combinations in creating a team that I'm having a problem settling on what type of team do I want(Offensive/Defensive/Balanced) argggggggghhhhhhh.....

Re: "Confessions" of an APF HEAD

I bought NCAA last week and played it 4 times with mixed feelings. I wasnt sure about APF, so I held off....I downloaded APF last night and proceeded to play 30, 5 min games in a row. Then I played 5, 5 min games before I went to work. The gameplay is tremendous. I was thoroughly impressed. I am just in awe on how much better the game plays and flows in comparison to NCAA. Its not even funny how much more realistic it is.

I will be picking up the game in about an hour and I will be happy to brag that I plan on becoming an APF Head.

God bless

Re: "Confessions" of an APF HEAD

Yeah, ive pretty much been playing daily and constanting looking for ways to change my team, or create new ones.

My issue is just trying to balance all my games not just football. Luckily the wife is a photographer so she always has her face buried in her mac so i use that time for 360.

I was going to start a new thread but this was seems sufficient.

Im just having a tough time accepting how people cannot like this game. I can see if you dont like legends, or fake teams, or generics, but i just cant seem to comprehend that if you are a fan of football how you dont like this game. All the little things that you see on a daily basis is just insane. Ive never found myself watching multiple replays of the DE just trying to get around the tackle or the qb planting before he throw. It just looks sooo sic!! I think the game looks great in the cut scenes on my standard tv; i cant imagine how it looks on hd-tv.

I agree I love watching the my guys try to get around the O Line. It looks so real. I love the way the game feels and plays. The only thing I wish is you could have more than 2 gold players, that is just not fair. It is like going to a candy store as a kid and your mom say you can look, but you aren't getting any candy! lol
