How can you not like this game?

Does anyone know how this game is on PS3? I had it for the 360 are really liked it for it's on-the-field action. Since my 360 died too many times, I traded in all of my games and switched to PS3.

APF is so cheap, I figured I would pick it up if it plays the same on PS3.

It plays slower. At the time, I guess 2K had not figured the ps3 out and the game does run slower. I think they have now though because nba 2k8 was very good on the ps3.

It's great on the PS3. The only major problem I have with it is that they didn't remove auto-strafe from the default online settings like they appear to have done for 360. That takes some punch out of defensive pursuit and blitzing, but there are some workarounds. I am still loving this game after almost a year of playing the hell out of it. I put new teams together on a weekly basis and don't feel like I've come anywhere close to exhausting the possibilities. The other major downside is that there is a much smaller online community, but I usually get a game when I want one, and I have several friends that I play and like. Hit me up anytime for a game.

My issue with this game is it doesn't have 32 teams in the season mode. I don't think EA could sue someone because you have 32 teams in your generic football game. There isn't any player progression. Other than those I love APF.

I was in the same boat as you a few months ago, traded all my useable 360 parts in for some games for my new PS3 purchase. I picked up APF at walmart , where i purchased my PS3, it was the fist game i bought for the new console.

And it plays just fine on the PS3.

To be honest... you can have these kind of games with Madden as well.

It's all about who you play and how much fun you guys have with it.

True. I played some great games with Madden in the past but my online experience has been better with 2k8.
