Demo Release Date Confirmed

but with MLB '10 it seemed like Sony had a deal with Best Buys or something....they had the game running on a big screen for like 2 weeks before release.....

Ok I kind of over reacted at the official BB forums....lol

this whole thing might have to do with something I touched on a while back.....the importance of a VERY Solid Demo......UFC does a great job with their demos and it shows..

It seems the 360 might have been the lead platform and their demo was easier to finish up....and they are making sure the PS3 demo is up to par....and for that it might take alittle extra time......

so I hope this is the reason....and if it is I agree with this approach....I said before how important their demo needed to be.......even if it means it releases after launch......you only get one crack with a solid demo.

microsuck is the reason for this they dish out cash to developers to release demos first for xbox then later for ps3 its great marketing by them (sarcasm) they also usually get dlc first or only for most games

Ill just read the demo reviews from people and see the screenshots/vids before the game is out.

Agreed.

I'm still going to download it because, "no tackle is ever the same" is just to good to pass up. I gotta try the demo out but, my final verdict on buying this game will be the review vids from guys like Apex, Moody, or Versus and not gamespot, IGN, etc, etc, etc. I may wind up not buying this game until I can get it for cheap at gamestop or something pending It's not a good game.

Lets hope for the best. I'm still pretty skeptical.

Edit: Also glad I'm a 360 owner lol. I am very disappointed in the release date though, I at least expected it to be mid may or late may but not THAT damn late. Doesn't feel like they've got a lot of confidence right now IMO.

Well they cannot strip it down much it doesn't have play by play just a PA announcer, no injuries or fatigue.. don't know why it would be so late to get a demo out.

I do agree 4 days before release is better than nothing.. sure hope people don't give in on the ps3 before they see how the 360 version is... if it's a dud on the 360 it will be a dud on the ps3.. same goes for if it's good that will send ps3 owners flocking to the game.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for a half way decent game, if this game blows.. EA sports will have no reason to up the ante and make a great game (or even decent).

I hope the company at least releases a few more videos and maybe some reviewers having a final or late beta... would help us out a lot.

I personally never seen a game with so much time put in.. and zero effort marketing it.. (even on the net).

I would feel safest if they sent a copy to Operation Sports.. rather than any other review/preview site man this doesn't make sense if you have a great product or even "Innovative" people will pay the money for it.

We deserve more!

Im sorry man but are you mentally ********? There is like 100 videos of this game out.

I am sure we will see some soon of the final build but I think that they have done a pretty damn good job of releasing info and actually working on the game (something EA never seems to have time to do).

Just because they are not marketing their games like EA and they are actually working on making it better, is not a reason to be upset.
