"Captain Hook" Returns -- Cincinnati Reds -- MLB:The Show 08 -- ps2

Cincinnati, OH - The ownership of the Cincinnati Reds today decided to not hire Dusty Baker as their new manager. They have decided to ask George "Sparky" Anderson to return and try to bring the franchise back from the depths of the National League.

"I'm glad to be returning to the Reds and with a little luck we can compete in the league." the new manager stated.

Note:

Console
: ps2
Sliders: same as the sliders used in my Orioles franchise.
Games: All games will be managed ONLY. Simming is a no-no with me.
Players: Current 40-man roster (as close as I could come with the ps2 outside of franchise mode. that means that I could not look at the AAA or AA rosters) plus any real players not on the 40-man roster. (No created players allowed! (Sorry Cueto, Lincoln, Mercker and Bako fans))

"Sparky" Anderson is now ready to field any questions from the media/fans (that would be you readers).

"As I look at your roster no specific name's stick out to me at the pitcher position. So will emerge on opening day as your ace?"

"Thanks for the question. As we finish up our spring games before heading north, it looks like Aaron Harang will be our opening day starter against Arizona. I will probably follow him with Bronson Arroyo and Matt Belisle."

"What type of year do you expect this year? Are you looking for a decent finish in the NL Central or wining the NL Pennant? What are your expectations of how you will perform this season?"

Thanks for the question.

He is not in the rosters that were came with the game.

I also don't believe in creating players that were not created by the SCEA staff. Others may choose to create him based on what they "feel" to be what the attributes should be. I firmly believe that the SCEA staff, and that goes for the EASports & Take-Two staffs as well, do a tremendous and rather thankless job of putting the attributes together. Just MHO and not an attack on anyone who creates players for their individual likings and fun with playing the game.
