Fox Sports Detroit Post game Coverage of the Detroit Tigers

Today's match-up
Game 8/162

1-6 vs 6-0
@ Comerica Park
April 13 --- 1:05PM

"ChiSox send a harsh message to Tigers with a 14-2 beating at Comerica"

OD - It was a day to forget if you're a Detroit Tigers fan. SP Dontrelle Willis was just plain bad, going 5 1/3 giving up 14 hits and 8 runs. The White Sox had 23 hits as a team.

5 of those coming off of the bat of SS Alexis Ramirez. Ramirez went 5-6 with 6 RBI. RF Jermaine Dye was 4-5 with a HR also.

The White Sox had every player reach base safely.

Opposing Willis was SP John Danks who went 7 1/3 strong, allowing 5 hits and no runs.

For the Tigers, SS Adam Everett finally got the Tigers on the board in the 9th with a 2 run HR, Everett's first of the year. 2B Ryan Raburn had gotten the start but was pulled after tweaking his groin, he is listed as day to day.

The Tigers now fall to 1-7 and hopefully will get some kind of redemption in tomorrow's game. The team ERA for the Tigers is over 8. The White Sox are an AL best 7-0.

FSD Players of the Game

Re: Olidegu's Detroit Tigers (MLB 09 THE SHOW)

How did Thames go 4-4 in the game against the Rangers when Millwood had a no hitter through 6 innings?

Hey Steelers, yeah that was a typer issue, Millwood had a no hitter going through five and then Thames broke it with a single in the 6th. I will fix. Thanks for reading bro.
