Re: Detroit Tigers: Going for Broke in 2012 (MLB the Show 2012)
Scherzer Dominating As Tigers Win 2-0
Max Scherzer has had some tough luck this year. With a lack of run support, Scherzer was 2-3 with a sub 3 ERA heading into his start against the Chicago White Sox. But on this night he wasn't going to let low run support stop him. Although Detroit only scored two runs, both in the first two innings, Scherzer dominated the Sox with 12 K's, facing just 2 hitters over the minimum in his eight innings before Jose Valverde came on to get the save with a 1-2-3 9th.
Austin Jackson provided most of the offense by leading off the game with a homerun to straight away centerfield. He added the other RBI in the 2nd when he knocked a two out single to left to score Jhonny Peralta. Detroit had six hits in the first two innings but just 4 the rest of the way.

Just wondering, are you also playing all of your games with the Tigers as well? I have a franchise here in the HQ as well with the Tigers, I play every game, every pitch, and we're very close to the same progress. I'm currently playing the Cleveland series just past the Pirates series you just updated from.
Will be following, obviously a Tigers fan... live 15 minutes from Downtown...

No I am not playing every game. I play 1 out of every 3 or 4. I simply don't have time to play every game since in addition to work and family I'm also still doing a Pistons dynasty on OS. I do go into each game as if I'm going to play it and then fast forward so i get the game log. if you just sim games from the calendar you don't get that and can't put in the details about how runs were scored.
