Padres Top Giants 1-0 as Frustration Sets In

Disclaimer: I apologize for not posting the past couple days. Have had things to do and haven't been able to play.

The bats of San Francisco continue to stay cold as they drop their seventh in a row. Many players in the clubhouse are starting to get frustrated as they are blanked again for the second straight game. Reporters caught up with Bruce Bochy after the game to ask him what is going wrong. Bochy replied, "Well we're not hitting the ball in critical situations. We had just as many hits as the other team but we couldn't get our runners home. It's still early in the season, so I am confident that we can turn it around." It will be interesting to see if the Giants can do just that to avoid another series sweep.

Giants' Bats Wake Up; Take Series vs Padres

April 9:
(3-9) San Francisco Giants 6, (5-7) San Diego Padres 3
W: D. Rodriguez (2-0), L: J. Lucchesi (0-2), S: R. Moronta (1)
SF: B. Crawford - 2/3 HR (2), 2 RBI
SD: M. Machado - 3/4 HR (5), 3B, RBI

April 10:
(4-9) Giants 7, (5-8) San Diego Padres 3
W: J. Samardzija (1-1), L: C. Paddack (1-1)
SF: T. Austin - 2/3 2 RBI
SD: M. Machado - 1/3 HR (6), 2 RBI

On Deck

April 11-14: 4-game series vs Colorado Rockies (6-7)
April 16-18: 3-game series at Washington Nationals (7-4)
April 19-21: 3-game series at Pittsburgh Pirates (7-4)

The San Francisco Giants look to continue their recent winning ways in a 3-game series against the Colorado Rockies. The Giants are on the road for the next three series after, so it is vital for the Giants to take this series in order to shake off this slow start.

Hitting the struggle bus to start the season, hope you can turn it around. Love the work so far.

Wow, the Brewers traded Hader?! I guess they got two decent prospects back but still. Surprising.

As stated above, a first place team trading their best reliever is shocking

Yeah I know. Kind of wish that wouldn't have happened but since I do not have 30 team control on I cannot reverse it or do anything about it. We'll see.
