Re: Career Coaching Legacy of Logan Martinez

Coach Logan Martinez's season gameplan:

1st recruiting priority: Shooting
2nd recruiting priority: Intelligence
Offensive playbook: All plays
Primary defense: Man to Man
Secondary defense: 2-3
Pressure defense: 2-3 Matchup
Inbounds press: Full-court press
Press frequency: After basket
Bench Depth: 12

Off-tempo:
90
Pressure: 60
Def-Rbnd-Fastbreak: 90
Trans Def-Crash boards: 70

Coach Martinez will be bringing a much faster pace offense to the Lions program than has been seen in years past. He will be abandoning the Ivy League staple of the Princeton offense in favor of opening the playbook to use all sorts of plays from various other teams.

"I feel like we shouldn't restrict ourselves to just one type of playbook. The door should be open to variation. There will be a trail and error period in figuring out which plays work and which do not. I know Lion traditionalists may not like the move at first, but I feel like they will come around to this change and learn to embrace it," stated the confident Martinez.

If I remember Agho and Egee where pretty solid scorers when I was messing around with the Lions.

Re: Career Coaching Legacy of Logan Martinez

Egee is actually the lowest rated guy on my team so he wont be seeing any PT lol, I have a plethora of SGs...Agho is a very good scorer as I found out just now in the dOOK game. Recap will be up shortly. Ouch

Lol, Longwood is pretty terrible on this game. I always chuckle to myself when I see them appear on my schedule because of how bad they are and because their name is pretty funny

Devils Rip Lions

Durham, NC -

The Duke Blue Devils forced 21 Columbia Lions Tuesday night and ran away with the game 94-65. The Lions went down early and really never recovered as the Cameron Crazies rattled the young Lions squad all night.

The Lions shot the ball pretty well (48%), but they took 18 less shots than the Devils because of the egregious amount of turnovers. Kyle Singler led all scorers with 22 points and Seth Curry provided a spark off the bench with 19 points of his own. Noruwa Agho led Columbia with 21 points, but he was only 3-10 from the free throw line and had 7 turnovers.
