Yeah I was glad I was able to get rid of Salmons. He had an awful contract and just didn't mesh with the team well. The good thing is I was able to open up future cap space because DJ Augustin already signed an extension and Corey Maggette has an expiring contract. Thanks for following man.

Well you need to keep it realistic..our owners are broke and can't afford free agents

KINGS RALLY TO BEAT NETS

SACRAMENTO -- This was a back and forth game that saw the Kings come out on top in the end 87-80.

The game was close throughout. A 16-2 run at the beginning of the 4th quarter by the Kings help propel them to the win. The leading scorer for the Kings was Demarcus Cousins with 20 points.

"It was a great win for us," said Coach Henderson after the game. "Now we just have to learn how to keep this momentum going over a long stretch of games."

The Kings' bench pitched in with 24 points, led by Terrence Williams with 12 points. "Just because we come off the bench doesn't mean we can't impact the game," said Wlliams. "We take our roles very seriously coming off the bench, and you can see what kind of effect it has on the team."

The leading scorer for the Nets was Brook Lopez with 19 points. "It is starting to become a theme for this season," said Deron Williams. "We stay in ball games late, but we are unable to pull out the win because of the lack of resiliency on this team."

Deron Williams just signed a mega-extension, and it doesn't sound like he is too happy with the direction this team is going.

The Kings must quickly turn around as they travel to face the Utah Jazz tomorrow night in Salt Lake City. This will be the second game of the back-to-back.

KINGS LOSE IN UGLY FASHION

SALT LAKE CITY -- It was an ugly game for both teams, but the Utah Jazz were able to outlast the Kings 83-71.

The stat lines told it all for the Kings. "I would call that our worst game all year," said Coach Henderson after the game. The Kings were able to muster up all of 10 points in the 1st quarter. It only got worse from there. The Kings only shot 27-67 from the floor for the entire game.

"Games like this are just unacceptable," said Andre Drummond. "We all know that we are better than this, and we are going to prove that in our next game."

Things could only get even worse for the Kings. Tyreke Evans sprained his ankle early in the 1st quarter, but was able to return in the 3rd quarter. It wasn't long before he went up for a jump shot and was knocked down. He grimaced in pain, walking off the court holding his lower back.

The team trainer reported that he had a lower back strain and would miss the remainder of the game and also the next 1-2 weeks.

The leading scorer for the Jazz was Alec Burks with 19 points. The Jazz improve to 13-7 winning their 3rd straight game.

The Kings have the next three days off before traveling to Atlanta to face the Hawks. They will continue on this 5 game road trip.
