They did indeed, I believe there was a point during that run where I committed four consecutive turnovers. I am truly lucky I snuck out with the win, if the rules were 13 minute quarter, I'da lost. =/

Thanks for reading guys, I'll have another update within the hour!

Andrew Bynum Will Play Against Bucks
Andrew Bynum has been activated today and will play (hopefully) his first full game as a Philadelphia 76er. Bynum had off-season knee surgery, and has missed the first 5 games of this season due to a pinched nerve in his back. The good news for Sixers fans is that the injury was not to Bynum's surgically repaired knee and the Sixers have gone 3-2 in his absence. Bynum will start at center for Philadelphia and one would elude that LaVoy Allen and Kwame Brown's minutes will be decreased.

Elton Brand Strains Hamstring, Will Receive Limited Minutes
Veteran forward Elton Brand injured himself by straining his hamstring in the Mavs' 86-79 victory over the 'Wolves. Brand has said he feels "a little tight" in his thigh, but will play through the pain. "If I, or the training staff, felt that this injury is going to flare up or progress from where it is, I wouldn't play. It just feels like I strained it, I'll be fine."

Rick Carlisle has stated that Brand, given his optimistic attitude, will still receive limited minutes in the next few games before they see how serious Brand's injury is.

Metta World Peace Suffers Groin Strain, Will Not Miss Any Time
If Laker fans were wondering why Metta World Peace looked a little slow Tuesday night, despite being in the best shape of his career, the reason is: World Peace strained a muscle in his groin in the Lakers' 83-61 destruction of the Spurs. The injury has been described as "a little uncomfortable soreness" and Metta is not expected to miss any playing time over it.

"At this point in my career, offensively, I've become a shooter. I know my role. It doesn't take a lot of groinular exercises to shoot the ball! I mean, defending might be a little painful, but I'm a tough guy. I'll play through."

World Peace is averaging 9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 31.1 minutes played per contest this season and has been a vital piece to the Lakers' 7-1 start.

Andrew Bogut Will Undergo Micro-Fracture Surgery, Will Miss Another Month
Bad news for Warrior fans, star center Andrew Bogut has reinjured his left ankle. Yes, the same ankle that he had off-season surgery on, the same ankle that has been bothering the center for what seems like his whole career. Bogut played the first 6 games of the season, but was forced to sit out against Denver on Saturday night. What looked like a precautionary measure has evolved into a surgery requiring injury. Bogut will undergo microfracture surgery on Wednesday to hopefully rid his ankle of this and any future injury problem(s) Bogut will miss, at the least, a month of action resting the ankle.

Rookie Festus Ezeli was very serviceable (6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block in 18 minutes) in the Warriors win over the Nuggets and is expected to start the span of Bogut's injury at the center spot.

The Warriors won the only meeting these two teams had last year, 85-82 in Atlanta. The Hawks look to begin the series off right and inch a little closer to that .500 mark. The Warriors just broke through the .500 mark and are looking to up their percentage even further. Inactives: ATL-None, GSW-Andrew Bogut

Warriors Move to 5-3 on the Season, Defeat Hawks 113-105
Curry's Triple Double and Barnes' Career High Propel Warriors Past Hawks

Upon one watching the first quarter, you'd think we were in for a blow out, but c'mon, this is the Warriors we're talking about. The Warriors have held a double digit lead in every game played this season, and this Atlanta game was no different. What the Warriors have also done, is let teams back into the game with poor offensive and defensive stretches, once again this Atlanta game was no different. The Hawks shot a miserable 29% from the field in the first quarter and the Warriors, 53%. However, the resillience of the Hawks and the over-comfortable-with-a-lead Warriors playing like themselves, Atlanta fought back into the game. The knockout blow for Atlanta came during a 8-0 run for the Hawks in the third when David Lee completed an alley-oop pass on a fast break to Harrison Barnes. After this play, the Hawks did not score for four minutes. The Warriors held tough in the fourth, despite an occasional 6-0 run by Atlanta, and defeated the Hawks, 113-105. The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated in ORACLE Arena.

Next up for Atlanta (2-5): @ Sacramento (3-5) Nov 16, vs. Orlando (2-5) Nov 19

for Golden State (5-3): @ Minnesota (5-3) Nov 16, @ Oklahoma City (7-2) Nov 18

Timberwolves Fall To Warriors At Home, 98-89
David Lee Shines Again, 24 Points and 7 Rebounds

David Lee (left) received Player of the Game for his performance in Golden State's 98-89 victory.
The Warriors put on an offensive clinic against the Timberwolves tonight. After starting the game 0-6 and down nine points, the Warriors clicked and hit their next seven shots, ending the quarter with a ten point lead. Golden State has been known for letting big leads slip this season, but they never let off the gas pedal in this one, leading by 17 at one point. The final deficit was nine for Minnesota, but to say that the Timberwolves closed the gap themselves would be delusional. The Warriors subbed in their second unit with four and a half minutes to go in the fourth. After Minnesota could not trim the lead to anything lower than nine, Golden State decided to ride the bench until the end of the game and the eventual Warriors victory, 98-89.

The Warriors (6-3) are now winners of three in a row, while the Timberwolves (5-4) have split their last four games, two wins and two losses.

Next up for Golden State (6-3): @ Oklahoma City (8-2) Nov 18, @ Dallas (3-7) Nov 19

for Minnesota (5-3): vs. Denver (4-5) Nov 21, @ Portland (5-4)

Re: We Got Next: A Golden State Warriors Association

Spurs Take Huge Blow; Duncan Sidelined for 6-8 Weeks

The San Antonio have gotten off to a hot start, with little recognition, as usual. The Spurs will now have things a little tougher on them as their star forward Tim Duncan broke his foot in Saturday's win over the Nuggets. Duncan is expect to miss a month-and-a-half to two months of action (6-8 weeks)

Gregg Popovich, head coach of the Spurs, has always dealt with injuries well and is supremely capable of getting more out of role players than any other coach. We expect Boris Diaw, Thiago Splitter, DeJuan Blair and Matt Bonner to fill in certain nights in place of Duncan.

Tim Duncan is averaging 15.7 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game in 34.2 minutes played per contest through 10 games.

Wizards' Martell Webster Sidelined with Neck Injury

Washington Wizards' forward Martell Webster will miss approximately three weeks with a neck injury he sustained in a home loss against Utah. Jan Vesely and Cartier Martin are expected to get minute-boosts until Webster's return.

On the season, Webster is averaging 4.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals in 13.2 minutes per contest.

Kidd Returns to Lineup; Expects More Wins

Jason Kidd has missed the last four games with a back injury, but is set to return to action. The Knicks are 0-4 in the span that Kidd has missed. All though New York was only 1-3 with Kidd in the lineup, Kidd explains that "it's not something that happens over night, like a team just clicks. There are a lot of veteran guys who know how to play the game on this team, I expect wins to come in bunches once we get it figured out."

Kidd averaged 5.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 20.5 minutes per contest in four games this season.
