BREAKING NEWS...

The scene fades in during a commercial break of the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics Friday night game. Sitting on the set of ESPN's NBA Countdown are Hall of Fame point guard Magic Johnson, award winning sports writers Michael Wilbon and Bill Simmons as well as former NBA Star Jalen Rose.

Michael Wilbon: "Ladies and gentleman, before we get back to the game we need to inform you of news we've just been handed coming from the NBA Commissioner's office."

Jalen Rose: "Oh, man... this should be good!"

Bill Simmons: "I'm hoping he's stopping the season now and just giving my Celtics the 2013 NBA Championship!"

Magic Johnson: "Not so fast Bill...They gotta beat the Los Angeles Lak--"

Wilbon interrupts.

Michael Wilbon: "Gentleman, gentleman... Let me get the news out..."

All mouths hush and eyes fall on Wilbon who straightens his tie before continuing.

Michael Wilbon: "Tomorrow morning, November 10th of 2012, commissioner David Stern and co-commissioner Adam Silver will be holding a joint press conference at 10am EST from the NBA Headquarters in downtown New York City."

"Reporters are flying in red-eye to be there as word is this is going to be an announcement that will rock the NBA at its foundation. Rumor has it that a team could be on the move or something of that nature."

Bill Simmons perks up and prepares to scream something in childish excitement but the scene fades out and the game returns.

Hey figgyfunny... I just went to create you but unfortunately since the association has already started the only way to get you in the game is by making you a draft prospect so that's what I'm going to do. Sorry man.

Re: mrblakevincent's Interactive NBA Franchise

According to sources inside the leagues office, the Orlando Magic have traded Hedo Turkoglu, Arron Afflalo, and Gustavo Ayon to the Knicks for Amare Stoudemire and Steve Novak. The Knicks have also released James White to make room for their new additions.
For the Magic, the acquiring of big man Amare Stoudemire should definitely help down low with the recently signed big man, Greg Oden. Steve Novak should also give Johnny Flynn another target. He will be a great scorer coming off the bench.
Arran Afflalo has taken the Knicks already strong depth at the 2 even stronger. Hedo Turkoglu and Gustavo Ayon should also help with depth.
Hopefully Hedo Turkoglu and Amare Stoudemire will both be able to live up there new expectations as neither were very effective on their previous team.
