You sure this draft class is better than the next? Most people think this is one of the weaker drafts

To me, yes, it is. I know a lot of people think 2013 is a weak draft class but that's in terms of raw star power. Out of this draft I only see Shabazz, Noel, Mcadoo, and Zeller as stars. Zeller and Mcadoo will take longer to get there I think but they'll get there.

This year's class is really deep with solid players though IMO, more so than next year's which is really top heavy and then falls off after the middle of the first round. I think this year's is the deeper class though not the class with the most star power.

But that's just my 2 cents.

More to come as the offseason progresses ... some interesting moves for a few teams, and some intriguing trades. Thanks for reading guys, stay tuned.

I'm going to counter this opinion.

This year's draft is a very deep draft, but there is nobody in there who's a true star. McAdoo has seen his stock slip tons, I've seen him fall out of the first round and no body seems to have him in the lottery. Zeller is ready to contribute in a big way, but he's no star. He should be a quality starter but not a n all-star. Shabazz is going to be a bust -- he's another one of those players who can score and do not much else... and we all know how they always work out in the NBA. Noel is the best player in the class but he's so raw offensively (and his IRL injury will hurt him a lot). Honestly I would take Marcus Smart of Ben McLemore over all of these guys I'm a rebuilding

2014 draft? Insanely deep. You've got the two best high school players since LeBron in Wiggins and Parker, and both of them have ridiculous amounts of potential (Hall-of-Fame level). Vonleh, Randle, the Harrison twins, Aaron Gordon... this class is FULL of future All-Stars.

Just my opinion.

^You may be right, sir. I don't know for sure. But, like in the real NBA, I'm taking a bet that I'll get more from this year's draft class than next years. Is it a good bet? We won't know for sure till a few years down the line.

Got to love basketball for that reason ... it has an immediate payoff and a long term one. Hell, who ever would have guessed Steve Nash as a Hall of fame level player when he came out?

Yeah definitely, that's the thing about sports. Draft is a real crapshoot. I mean, even Kobe or Stockton weren't seen as sure-fire HOFers out of school... I realize it's a different sport, but Mike Piazza was a 62nd-round pick, as a favor!

LOVE Noel. I'm a Gator fan, I know I should be homing it up, but I can't deny the talent I see in Noel. I think the guy is gonna be an All-Star for sure ... the dude is intense on the court, quiet off it, and a hard worker. Combine that with his high talent level (admittedly raw offensively, but nearly elite defensively) and I think he's a franchise cornerstone.
