Bledsoe To Miss Time With Shoulder Injury
Simulation Sports-- The Phoenix Suns were dealt a blow today when they learned that they will be without point guard Eric Bledsoe for the next two weeks. Bledsoe was injured in the 2nd quarter of the Suns loss to the Thunder on Sunday. Bledsoe was attempting a jump shot when Arron Affalo came crashing down on his right shoulder. A MRI revealed that the former Wildcat suffered a sprained shoulder.
Bledsoe was acquired by the Suns over the summer after backing up Chris Paul the past two seasons and he has made the Suns front office look like geniuses. Bledsoe is averaging 23.6 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 7.1 apg, and shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three.
With the playoffs only 11 days away, the Suns hope Bledsoe will be ready by Game 2 or 3 of their first round series.
