Is Yacob one of your higher rated 3pt shooters? He was just plain awful in that Albany game 1/7 and if i added it up correctly he is like 3 of his past 20. Might be time to sit him down and explain to him sometimes you just have to let someone else try and be that guy. I have heard it said to try and shoot your way out of slump, but he is taking it to the next level

Re: The Madness - Coaching Legacy of Tyler MacLeod

Yes on the second unit he is one of the only players that can put up the 3 ball, the actual small forwards on my team play more like power forwards (can really only score from about 10 feet in) and Andrew Jackson and Hammond aren't offensive threats which gives my second unit a really weak offensive output, sometimes someone catches fire but I try to keep Myles or Reed in to help out the second unit.

Bearcats stumble into conference tourney

Against UMBC, the results followed what the previous matchup result was, despite a strong showing from the first unit, the UMBC Terriers just managed to find a way to knock off a better Bearcat squad, Tyler MacLeod will look at this season series as a major opportunity wasted, they had no business being swept in this season series. Jordan Reed unsurprisingly led the team, while Marlon Beck and Curtis Gai each turned in solid performances.

Talk about a lack of help, the Bearcats fell in no surprise due to the lack of assistance to their leader, Jordan Reed who unleashed a torrent of scoring upon the Maine Black Bears but when there was such little help surrounding him, the Bearcats lack of a second scoring option was prevalent in this showing and it cost them yet another matchup.

Finally, a full team performance with a consistent showing across the board on all sides of the ball led to a Binghamton victory over the Hartford squad that came in as favorites and left being routed. Reed was the clear headliner but there was a strong enough performance across the board for him to keep them well enough ahead of Hartford, a big victory for the Bearcats.

New Hampshire will definitely spend a lot of time next year on watching Jordan Reed's tape especially after he unleashed a 31 point performance upon the Wildcats. New Hampshire was helpless as he unloaded, putting the load upon his shoulders, going to the charity stripe for an unprecedented 20 attempts from the line. He is showing that he is a true competitor and can challenge the opposition no matter what defense is thrown at him.

The regular season ends in an exciting fashion, a buzzer beater from Mire Myles ended a tie and brought to close an up and down regular season for the Bearcats, the Bearcats will take the victory in stride and the team at the very least as caught a little bit of a stride as it turned it's corner into the conference tournament, while a big stretch to make it into the NCAA's, they could cause some damage in the tournament and give something to build upon come next season.

Binghamton finishes the season just shy of .500

As anyone that has followed Bearcat basketball this season can attest to, Anthony Odunsi has been devastating off the bench for the Great Danes, especially against the Bearcats. The key to their victory? Rotations and better bench management, and it proved effective as the senior played his last game to a disappointing 6 point performance that included shooting .200% from the field. Jordan Reed and Mire Myles both had strong showings, with Reed being abundantly strong. Marlon Beck added a few big threes while Andrew Jackson had his best game of his career to date, as the Australian was the fourth Bearcat to double digits with 12 points on 6-7 shooting to be a big key for the squad off the bench. After being dominated by the Danes all regular season, the Bearcats got their revenge on a larger stage.

Having split the season series with the Wildcats of New Hampshire, the season series would come down to this post season clash and the player that reigned supreme was none other than Jordan Reed who posted a game high 15 points and 11 rebounds, adding yet another double double to his accolades. The Bearcats escaped with a three point victory thanks to a late rally that saw a good offensive push by the Bearcats, who managed to win despite only hitting 1 three the entire contest.

Once more the Bearcats ended up in a tournament finale that no one expected them to be in and the results were similar to the La Salle beating as the Bearcats dropped their season concluding matchup to the Boston Terriers, Boston improved to 3-0 on the season against the Bearcats led by Maurice Watson Jr, the Philadelphia native went off for 37 points while shooting above .500 from the field and over 60% from the charity stripe. Adding 8 assists to fall just shy of a double double, rather impressively the Terriers won by 14 despite their bench going 6 deep and only getting 5 points from the six players that weren't in the starting line up. Jordan Reed deserves commendation for his own performance, as he blew up for a 32 point performance on 13-17 shooting, he could not have been any more perfect, but the Bearcats fell. Ending the season at a 16-17 record.
