Re: Redskins (HC 09)

I was hoping I would be able to slide in on a Wild Card to the playoffs, but this slide at then end I think has taken care of that. It just points out the problems with the offense. I hope new coaches will fix most of it.

RB Portis has been taken out by the trainer now, so I cant even use him in games. I hope I can get him traded before the draft.

The discussion with RB Robinson is not going to well. He wants a bigger bonus than I am willing to offer him, so I may end up keeping Betts just so I have a RB that knows the playbook.

Re: Redskins (HC 09)

The Pro Bowl voting is over and I am not going to list everyone that is going, but the Redskins were not well represented. OLB Suggs and FS Landry will be on the NFC roster for the Redskins.

The Buccaneers are sending 8 players, the Giants 9 and the Eagles 6.

Not too bad for my first season though with most of the coaches going to be fired.

Re: Redskins (HC 09)

I am really disappointed in the way the season ended up. I think the lack of skills in my coaching staff played a part in this. I am looking at K Tynes pretty hard right now, but most of his misses have been 40+ yards, so not sure what a new coordinator will do.

RB Robinson was re-signed. I am currently -2.01 million as far as the 2009 cap is concerned. I will be glad to see that change soon!

I will post the final year stats in a while as well as the standings. Here are the final awards:

MVP: QB Eli Manning, Giants
OPOY: QB Eli Manning, Giants
DPOY: OLB Brooks, Buccaneers
OROY: RB McFadden, Bengals
DROY: MLB Connors, Lions
COY: Tony Dungy, Colts

The Redskins were not in consideration for any awards. But I think not a bad season all things considered.

NCAA 14 has both coach skills and power recruiting. I'm not a big fan of college football, but it might be worth the $60.

Re: Redskins (HC 09)

I love playing and watching NCAA and Pro. I am very excited about the changes I have seen in both of the franchises this year and cant wait for them to come out. But even though I have had both of them, I still get drawn back to this game...I guess it is the total immersion you can get with it.
