Well I didn't expect to read that.

Re: 2009-10 Texas Longhorns Thread

Cheaters never win! Thanks to Kelvin Sampsons transgressions, the following players would have been on 0Us basketball team the past couple years in addition to Warren and of course Griffen..

Scottie Reynolds, Villanova
Damion James, Texas

Are your frickin' kidding me? That would have been a hell of a team...

Back to football, I love how Mobilhoma fan loves to bring up Texas lack of Big 12 hardware recently, and lack of Heismans the past several years...yet when Texas fan brings up 45-35..or the most recent National Championship, or Texas higher BCS ranking last year...we get the ol' "quit living in the past!" card.

Damn I can't wait till October!!

I saw Robert Griffin play every playoff game his JR and SR year.

I cannot wait until he quits football and goes pro in track

Let the hype start. Colt McCoy for Heisman and Texas for national champions.

It's sad that this starts in March when Texas didn't even win their own division last year. If I remember correctly, OU is the defending Big 12 champs that returns their heisman winner.
They return their heisman winner who couldn't beat Texas last year. The only team who beat Texas will be lucky to win 7 games this year

Yes, because Sampson was fired by OU and didn't leave to take the Indiana job...

Bradford's resume is a lot better than McCoy's. "Sammy B" has two conference championships which is twice as many as Texas has over the past decade. Sam also has a Heisman. McCoy has nothing except for a hot girlfriend.

FYI, Bradford has beaten Texas.

the record books will remember Colt. everyone will remember that bradford choked against Texas...won the heisman...then choked in the big game. then they will think about how glorious it couldve been had Texas went...
also... UT cant win a conf. champ and OU cant win a bowl game. there. we are even.

Texas is going to be scary next season. I wonder if Colt will throw 60 times a game like he did vs. Ohio St... if he does Texas will routinely put up 50+

more on topic:
defense is solid...Qb and WRs are set. but the big qeustion is which RB, if any, will step-up and make something happen? I have been waiting for a dominant every-down back since Benson left and starting getting arrested. and Colt McCoy leading the team in rushing is cool and everything but I would love for him to have less yards, less carries, a higher YPC avg, and more TDs next season with a 1,000yd rusher to take the load off of him.

game I cant wait for:
TTU@UT

the raiders havent played in DKR since the capacity increase. they are going to poop a big red candle when they see that wall of fans.
I think ticket prices for that game are the most expensive ever at Texas.
I predict Texas wins it 50-24

Hook 'em!!!

While Texas getting annihilated by The Tebows would be entertaining, I"m not sure if it would have been glorious.
