Texas only had one touchdown by their offense in the first half of that game. The other TD was a kickoff return by Shipley.

It doesn't really matter. Texas was a little bit better that day just like Texas Tech was a little bit better than Texas in Lubbock.

Texas will be a good team in 2009. That being said, Texas fans always overrate their coaches and players. Texas fans have been doing this for as long as I can remember.

Do I think Colt McCoy is a good college player and good for the system Davis runs at Texas? Sure I do. Do I think Colt McCoy is the best QB in America and a lock for the Heisman? Heck, no I don't.

Do I think Muschamp is a heck of a coach. Of Course I do. Do I think his defense at Texas was awesome last year? Nope, sure don't.

Longhorn fans would have you believe Muschamp's defense was one of the best in that nation last year. That just wasn't the case. What about USC, Florida, and a lot of the SEC teams? Heck, I thought TCU had a pretty good scheme. Muschamp's great coaching gave up 35 points to OU and 39 points to Texas Tech.

Texas is good but like I said, their players usually aren't nearly as awesome as Longhorn fans make them out to be.

When I read crap like Bradford choked when he threw for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns it's comical. Likewise, when Horn fans say that they would have beaten OU by 20-25 points if the game was 5 quarters I get a good chuckle.

Next season should be fun.

We will be in the mix this season. The squad returns alot of talent. Should be a great season. Remember we beat OU last season, so they are paper big 12 champs imo, they know it

Texas will be good and should be the consensus pick to win the Big 12.

Last year was OU's year. This year is Texas' year. That being said, Texas was ahead of schedule last year.

Giving up a 30 yard TD pass on the last play of the game, between 2 defenders with a trip to the national championship on the line to a team you are supposed to be far better than, is the very definition of choking.

Despite the fact that I travel to Dallas a few times a year, there is a good number of Longhorn fans north of the Red River. At least you don't have to deal with these people on a consistent basis.

lol this post is a good example of a sooner attitude...posting in a Texas Longhorn 09-10 season thread and complaining about "dealing with" Longhorn fans.

many sooners also love trashing the state of Texas itself, yet they always have more Texans on their football team than Okies. They depend on the very state that many of them love to trash. Ive always found that very ironic

as far as the So Cal, west coast honk. Who cares about his agenda
