The way this offseason is going, Connor Brewer might be burning that yet-to-be-official redshirt in the middle of the season.

I highly, highly doubt that. Im pretty sure Brewer is taking a redshirt no matter what to stop this pattern of throwing QBs to the fire.

Worst case scenario is that his hammy is torn, and Case starts up until (or maybe through) the Ole Miss game with Jalen Overstreet backing him up. A hamstring is usually 8 Weeks.

Jalen Overstreet might actually take some snaps at QB (not just wildcat option stuff) if Ash's injury is severe. I say bring it on. Texas hasnt a had a QB like this dude in a while...

Edit: Reading that he strained his hamstring running sprints with the team and is day-to-day (not severe). That could mean anything though.
