Not at all? lol

What about being 6'6" with a big arm and the ability to shake off defenders (and not looking all that athletic while doing it) doesn't remind you of Big Ben? They've actually mentioned in recent press conferences that Jedd Fisch & Co. cut up NFL film of Roethlisberger specifically for Speight to look at. Not only are there similarities, but Speight's actively modeling his game after the guy.

You know Michigan is back when you can find some disappointment in a 78-0 conference road win. Namely, they gave up those two first downs in the 4th quarter.

Think about that last trip to Rutgers. That wasn't even that long ago. Nice to be here now.

You guys are probably right, I've just been so skeptical about him, his throwing motion still irks me, I know this is an obscure reference but I thought of Dan McGwire (SPTO would know him), mixed with some David Carr. I'm probably jaded.

But that game today... holy **** GO BLUE!

I mean yeah, Rutgers sucks, but I can't remember stomping on a throat like that in forever.

The best I can come up with off the top of my head was 58-0 over Antwaan Randle-El's Indiana team like 15 years ago

Any Lions fans remember the Matt Stafford botch slide from a couple weeks ago? The 5 minute mark of that clip was like a mirror image of it, and the commentary was exactly the same "for a former baseball player [blah blah blah]..."

After watching some of the MSU-NU game today, I'm not very worried about Oct. 29th. Where's the threat?

Leapt over an underwhelming Clemson side to nab the #3 spot in the rankings. That and MSU getting pounded by a Pat Fitzgerald-coached team made for a solid bye week.

Onto Illini week. Poor Lovie Smith...they could only beat Rutgers 24-7.

Strikes me as another game where I'll be irritated if Michigan surrenders a point.
