What else was there for him? He needed a QB for 1 year and if this doesn't work out, they move on next year. He had 1 QB on the roster that had any playing time. They took what they could get and probably the only QB with experience they could get.

Re: Week 2 Discussion

That's such a weird play. I don't often like the not scoring on purpose play, because the last Utah PAT snap wasn't great. I'd trust my D to hold a lead for 17 seconds. Just odd how they tried to let him score, but he sorta tried not to score, but they push him in anyway.

Anyone know what ABC is doing? I doubt they move away from ND even for a SEC team.

Re: Week 2 Discussion

How does Utah allow someone to get behind them playing prevent?

Re: Week 2 Discussion

OR the defense could let someone get behind them and allow a 50 yards pass lol

Baylor should get their 1 second back, maybe I take back what I said about not scoring

I know that Yankee Stadium started to fill with water, and they just put the tarp on at Fenway Park too.

So they're definitely getting some rainfall from that hurricane.

I can’t remember when Casey Thompson entered the portal, but no way he was worse than Sims.

With Rhule’s collegiate track record, I’m amazed this was the best he could do. And he may have ended up signing earlier enough that gave me “he’s the guy we want” vibes.

Edit: read an article, Thompson was around in spring ball and transferred when he got "beat out" by Sims (after the latter's spring game performance). He transferred in soon after Rhule got hired. Yikes.
