Aw. I wish he would have stayed for at least the WVU game!

Well, hopefully, Auburn will be so screwed up from switching frin the spread back to their old offense mid-season that they'll be confused and be even worse against West Virginia!

They shouldn't be. This move in itself isn't horrible, but the turmoil from this is very, very bad.

I guess this was the best time to fire him if you were going to do in-season. Auburn hosts Arkansas (Texas, Alabama and Florida just scored again agains the Pigs) and then they get 11 days off until WVU. Even so, that's a non-conference game so basically they have Arkansas and don't play a league game again until November 1st at Ole Miss. Then it's Tennessee-Martin and back to league play with Georgia.

What the hell was the point of it anyway then?

Fired after...uh, a couple of games? Granted, Franklin deserved to be fired.

Oh well, I bet Auburn fans are happy.
