probably because some of the roster files are reused for editing year after year, and may have been hex edited at one time, and there is a names glitch.

Thanks! I don't hex edit, but it could be since the roster base is from someone else. I noticed that happens sometimes. I'm currently working on a current 2K8 roster 2020-21 update (PS3) off of mjpj1's file from last winter! (Appreciate your work, mjpj1).

Stay tuned ... hopefully 1/1/2021 release! (conferences will be correct this time, matching default)

Here is the save i promised. Sorry its so late. I see that some great people are already working on a 20-21 roster so this could be just to hold you over in the meanwhile.

Ive added a good few of the freshman and transfers for 20-21 as redshirts and have lowered some of their potential to keep them from going pro while redshirted (so when entering your secon season youll have to raise players like Cunningham's potential.
