I am starting to get the hang of the game, in fact I've had leads in my last 4 games (only winning 1), but somehow manage to lose in the end.

That being said, these sliders are some of the best I've ever used for any sports game. They provide a realistic product and make for some very enjoyable games. Is it fun to lose? No, but my team is rated as a 70 overall (and that's on a good day), so getting blown out by a team rated 88 is fine with me and it should be expected. My 1 win came in conference against Wofford who is rated 72 or 73, I was up big in the 2nd half (14) and they managed to cut it to 5, by pressing and creating turnovers and then converting those into points. Just like a real game. A wonderful game made better by these sliders.
I'm still getting use to the controls aswell

But Mkharsh has done a really nice job with the base sliders...i'm playing this game more than any other Sports game right now which is crazy considering this game is like 4-5 years old

The only thing i've had issues with is the Court Spacing but that has more to do with the game then the actual sliders.

I had a incredible game tonight Georgia Tech vs Louisville (me).....i led most of the game then in the final 2:00 minutes Tech got some crazy boost up and went on a 9-4 run to tie the game at 67-67 with like .16 seconds left to play.

I throw a bad pass that is picked off by Brian Oliver and then with about 3 seconds left to play freaking Kenny Anderson hits the game winning shot on a baseline corner jumper

That might have been the 1st time i've ever lost to the CPU on a last second shot in any college basketball game i've played

Player Speed - 50

Blocking Fouls - 50 (lowered to see if more charges are called; charging at 100)

Shooting Fouls - 67 (adds a few more free throws per game for human & cpu)

Attributes

Def Awareness - 65

Steal - 67

Ball Handling - 42

Steal - 67 (still not 100% satisfied with reach-in foul/steal ratio, but this works ok for me)

Speed - 50 user/47 cpu (occasional separation and ability to drive to hoop around slower defenders sometimes; lowering defensive awareness could result in more separation, but I'm not sure)

Gameplay

Team Unity - 20 (not sure that lowering from 35 makes that big of a difference, but I'm afraid that having it too high could result in experienced lower tier teams playing too good against powerhouses loaded with AA freshmen and sophomores)

Steal Success - 67 (once again, see steal attribute above)

Help Defense - 55 (lowering it seems to enable more separation without defender cutting me off as quick)
are these changes for both human and cpu?

Yes they are for both. The only slider I have different for them is the speed one at 50/47. Everything else is equal.

Tough loss man. Unfortunately, I've experienced a few buzzer beating losses at the hands of the computer in my video game basketball career. Probably the most disheartening one that I recall was getting beat in the Championship game on Coack K by a Marcus Camby 30 footer at the buzzer. I was using Oklahoma State and had just taken the lead on a bucket by Randy Rutherford with about 5 seconds to go and for some reason Camby ended up with the ball between the 3-point line and half-court and drained it. Good times & good memories though.

Re: **mkharsh33 - All-Conference Sliders""

Check these stats out

Reggie Theus 14 pt's, 2-reb and 6 assist
Fredddie Banks 16 pt's, 3/5 3-PT range
Sidney Green 12 pt's & 8 rebounds
Shawn Marion 6 pt's and 14 rebounds

Now here's the crazy part that is the damage that UNLV's bench did to me LOL!

All those guys come off the UNLV bench....they blasted me 99-72 using West Virginia and the speed/tempo of the game was brutal as West Virginia had no shot in hell of keeping up

UNLV was 8/20 on 3's and 11/18 from the FT line and had 25 assist as a team with Theus (6) and Ricky Sobers (5) combining for 11 of the 25.

My top player was Jerry West with 12 points and 6 rebounds but he was simply hounded all game by either Stacey Augmon or Marion off the bench it was really tough to get clean looks with those two guys constantly in West face.

I changed the game speed to 60 and speed to 40 so it would make the pace more UNLV style end to end up and down.....then i put Help Recovery slider at 0 and Help Defense at 25 to open up some spacing. I left the Defensive awareness high to balance it out so that guys would still know their zone responsibility and contest shots but they weren't able to always close out on shooters like Bruce Bowen all game.

Finally started seeing some high flying dunks....had one play were Marion went baseline around Pittsnogle and flushed it then on another play David Butler on the break got a nice feed from Theus look like he took off just from inside the Ft line and power slammed it with two hands....

Too my surprise even with the sliders cranked up maxed it doesn't really lead to a dunk fest....i was starting to get upset with the Big's not dunking so i cranked up the sliders to 100 and they got 3 dunks the entire game which is pretty darn realistic IMO

I think the shooting sliders are dead perfect love the fact that UNLV shot 8/20 from down time and Freddie "Fearless" Banks took 5 of the 20 3's which was his style of his style of play back in day.....My squad shot 5/16

I like the fact that Mkharsh didn't lower the shooting tendencies because i believe guys like Redick, Ray Allen, Sleepy Floyd and Rodney Monroe should have no hesitation in cranking up 3's and Bigs shouldn't be passing up open shots in the paint....

So shooting tendencies all at default 50 with Drive Tendency at 100 is giving me outstanding CPU shot selection even a guy with 35 Close shot tendency will still take the shot if it's open to him....

There is no goofy player behavior with everything at default because i hate seeing guys act like a chicken with his head chopped off in some games where the shooting sliders make them act like they are scared to shoot open shots in the paint half the time.

Good stuff so far in my last two test games i've had a buzzer beating lost to Georgia Tech Alumni and a blowout lost to UNLV Alumni......

Re: **mkharsh33 - All-Conference Sliders""

The floor spacing is rough compared to NBA 2K11/12, and I'm not sure if can be remedied since the playbook options are so limited. Otherwise, the game plays very well with this set, although staying within 20 of the CPU is a real challenge with PM's beta roster file and my general rustiness with this game.
