Re: OSUPiper's CH2K8 CPUvCPU Experience

Thanks for your great work on this set, i enjoy playing CPU vs CPU and you are making it a better experience for me.

I have a dumb question though. Trying to do your game time edits, how do you edit the opposing coach's profile? When I try I can only edit my own coach's.

Thanks again.

If you're playing a closed legacy, you probably can't edit coaches. I've never tried, but I know you can't edit other players.

Thanks, that's what I thought it might be. It is a closed legacy. I appreciate the help.

I always play open legacy, because I anticipate editing. Honestly, I think the sliders should still work. You just will not see the offensive rebounding and transition baskets with as much frequency.

The sliders do work well. And to be honest, everything you predicted was true. When I cranked up the defensive intensity on my team to 80-85 it really spread the floor and opened up passing lanes. The other teams tore me up with back doors and easier post feeds, which put me at a disadvantage, since the other teams in my league were sitting at around 60 for intensity. So I had to lower mine back down to stay competitive.

TBH, the offensive rebounding looked pretty good, but as you say, the transition game suffers a bit.

I played my first season with version 2.0 of the sliders, and as you pointed out, FG percentage was low. Halfway through season 2 with the version 2.1 changes, FG shooting is noticeably better and there are more alley-oops, more dunks, and more low post offense.

Thanks for all your slider work!

Piper,

For coach mode is it also necessary to follow your game time edits down the list?

I have not tried it, but I think it would have the same effect. So, I would say Yes, do the same editing on coach tendencies.
