Can't believe it's been nine months since we've had a post in this thread.

It's about that time for my annual test with 2K8, I've written it off for the third straight year thinking I won't be able to get back into it. The last two years I was dead wrong lol. Without the NBA I'm having a tough time getting into 2K12 and I'm foaming at the mouth for the college basketball season to begin this year.

Let's see what 2K8 can muster up this time around...

I'm with you ehh. I haven't purchased NBA 2K12 yet and I need a break from MLB 11. I'm still disappointed with NCAA 12 and the boredom I feel when playing it, so College Hoops will soon be back in my gaming rotation.

I'm probly going to get it fired back up, too. I won't buy 2k12 until/unless the lockout ends, and I never even bought ncaa 12 (still have a great career going on 11). I'm thinking I'll check out some of the newer roster files and see what looks good, then get a new legacy going. Or dust off an old legacy.

I've fired mine up as well, not having this game long. Thursday night to be exact. So happy to see that there was an OS Version 1.1 2011-12 Updated Roster out for the PS3!!

I've started at Montana State, lost 3 Seniors (all top 3 guys) from last year's 27-3, NCAA Tourney Team.

I had 4 guys that could hit 3's pretty decently, and that's what I did with my Offense last year. Now, I have a guy from last year of my 4 that is a Senior...but that's it. He can only hit 3's at 79 for his Rating.

I had a local kid that was a 5* out of Montana, was #1 all year with me, 100% Interest, then decided to go to Utah State out of the blue. Utah State didn't even get as far as I did in the Tourney (they were out after game 1, and I won my 1st game only to lose my 2nd).

However, I did get a 3* SG that's more of a SF skill set. Quick, can't hit mid or 3's...81 OVR close shooting.

I chose Montana State because they have a 10K seat Arena, and only had 9 guys on their Roster, giving me a bunch of Scholarships to work with last year.

I was able to get a 6'11" PF, a 7'2" 277 C, and a 7'1" C that I made into a PF. My 6'11" ripped his ACL, so he's done for the year.

I'm gonna try and win my Conference and Conference Tourney again for the 2nd straight year. I've got to be able to get some decent Recruits in!!

Is this how you go about getting attention? Consistent Tourney appearanes/wins in the NCAA's?? I love the realism and everything about this great game.
