I'm going to have to go out and buy NBA 2k8 whenever I pick up my season and finish it again. My starting center was an amazing diamond in the rough find for me, he's a junior and is projected to go first round. He doesn't have amazing numbers(around 9 ppg and 9rpg), but he has really good skills.

I always love to see my guys progress at the next level.

Man I freaking love this game!!!!!!!!

Even tho NBA2K10 looks like it will pass this game and NCAABB10 seems to be taking long strides to catch up with Choops...I STILL dont see me retiring this game......

Im in my 4th year with Southern(69OVR) and coached them to a 4-6 non confence record which included a upset win over #7UAB and 2 wins against mid majors, we also played #11 LSU VERY well(LSU and UAB were very young)

but now Im in conf play and about to start the season 0-2!!! Im losing to Alcon st(71OVR) right with a score of 48-67 with 60 seconds left! My conf has teams rated between 65-71...One team is rated 81(jackson st) who has 3 transfers playing including a HSAA PG who didnt get playing time at PSU...

Final score is 50-72...I lost

you can't stop playing a game that you love even when you lose big. my biggest lose was 46-106 vs Kansas. I will get them someday

I find sometimes the losses are easier to play through then blowout wins... BORING

back to playing this game after not being too impressed by what 2k10 looks to have to offer.

we shall see.

but for this week, its back to ch2k8.

im not sure whos sliders im using but they are set perfectly. 15 min halfs. AC level, speed adjusted to 60, dunks to 65 , and shooting down a bit on its sucess level, among other changes.

fun times ahead!

U can't compare NBA 2k10 to this game. This game has it beat on so many levels.

down 25 at half. I come back to within 17 with tough defense. I thought their 60% shooint was bad and it truly being more of a slider issue. But as I tightened up, It dropped to about 48% as they win by 20.

i dont know of many games where you can lose by 20 and still have realistic stat lines. awesome stuff.

its funny but the court edit work I did back when the game released, I never really got to bear the fruit of all that labor, as other games took up time away.. But now im back and the court edits are looking better than ever
