I honestly wonder what will start costing. Was just talking about the fact that their free charge is appealing to my pocket more as well as their exclusives.

If it means an online experience as smooth as what is found with Live, then I hope they DO start charging.

Free online play is a core bullet point that they likely won't go back on this generation, even if they did roll back on their stances for ps2 BC and rumble.

It's expected that they would charge for "premium content and services" like an MMO or the DD game rental service they were considering awhile back.

I agree with bk, I doubt they change course on this during the current generation. If online features took a BIG leap forward on the PS4 I wouldn't mind paying for it.

guarantee you it wont happen.. This is one of Sony's strong points. It's just like the report that MS was going to start charring $100 for there gold membership, it wont happen.

re: Playstation Plus - Premium PS3 Service

They have to be kicking themselves for not charging to begin with. Seeing 360 make $50/year times 10 mill (approx) would be very disturbing if I was the one at Sony who suggested it be free. When PS3 was expensive they prob felt like they couldn't squeeze anymore money out of people. But now that its cheaper it's had to cross their mind on how they can charge for it.
