Yep. I traded my 60gb for a slim over the weekend. Love the design and the extra space. This thing is SUPER quiet. I'm happy with the purchase.

Just did the same. Syncing my trophy info as I type. The quietness was worth it alone. No more having to use my headphones to drown out the fan while the wife sleeps as I game

PlusI used my buddies sixaxis that doesn't center on the right analog to trade with it. Now he'll get a dualshock 3

I had a scare with mine this morning. I keep it on it's side for space reasons and when my stupid cat got in the window he knocked it flat. I threw the cat across the room and checked and it worked fine. phew!

I need to find a stand for it.

If I didn't have a 60gb system I'd jump on this. I like backwards compatibility though.

Just fixed my 40gb ylod unit and I hope they will take this sucker in with the word void on the warranty sticker :-(

I would consider this more if Sony allowed me to take the hdd out of my fat PS3 and put it in a new slim without having to reformat. I've got so many games that have restricted game saves that I'm a slave to my fat PS3.
