Playstation 4 games in development says Game Informer

Considering it can take 3-5 years to Produce a original AAA title, this does not suprise me.

They aren't using the cell again. But, it's promising the engineers are working with programmers to design the dev tools.

I agree with the not maxed out yet argument. They should make a PS3.5 version, with larger RAM, faster processor and increased VRAM.

i will be waiting this one out two -three years once it does get launched. not getting it the first month or so like i did with ps3 only for the price to go down and better versions. come out.

I'm all for 2013/14.. I think the majority of game genres will benefit from it.. I'm kinda worried about sports titles though. The current engines just aren't cutting it.. So that means we'll have to put up with another 2-3 years of slight revisions. I'd have no problem with that if the engines were good to begin with, but they're not. The only sports game engine that has truly worked this gen is The Show.

Outside of sports titles, I'm in no rush for new hardware.

I just hope they are still Disc-Based games. If they go full on down loadable digital media, it might be the end of my 25+ year gaming habit.

Imagine downloading 50gb just to play a game. Then imagine the console only come with a 250gb hdd.

Looks like physical media is the route for PS4.
