Yup - take off your CC. I learned after the Sony fiasco.

Oddly enough - I never had one on file with MS and the lack of availability for PSN led to my poor judgement.

Well I've never used a CC on my xbox at all. I go by MS points from walmart or Gamestop and by done with. To many people out here now days wanting to steal other people hard earn money. So that is why I refuse to use a CC at on xbox live.

Yes but YOUR account is now on THEIR 360. Whatever they downloaded with your account to their 360 they can use on their real account. They don't need to transfer anything.

Had to call MS, since I used a XBL card from Amazon at my last renwewal, my CC never expired on the account. So they had to cancel my account, then email me codes for whatever time I had left on my current account and I reapplied them.

Was pretty painless and didn't take long.

This is sad. I am mad I have to go through so much to remove a credit card. I called them already. Thanks man. My card was charged last April I am not understanding why the card is still needed to be associated with my current XBL Tenure.

So they had to cancel my current XBL Gold. And send me a redeemable code to sign back up. Stupid as hell.

One thing that infuriated me more, was how they handled credit cards and removing them. And back when Live first hit, you were NOT able to manually remove it yourself. It was so annoying that me and my fiance at the time, trying to get it removed from some dude in India, we just got a new credit card issued and cancelled that one.

I just got hacked for 10,000 pts last night. Xbox told me 25 days and locking my account until they finish the investigation. Good thing I have another xbox and account in the bedroom.
