Oh No my PS3 just died !

My PS3 just died looks like I will be picking up a new PS3 tomorrow .Along with MLB THE SHOW 12 my ps3 got the YLOD,I had it since the day it was release is the 60GB version not going to bother with repairing it. I will buy anew slim tomorrow 320 GB This is just Great, you talk about perfect timing when the show comes out My PS3 dies !

Dont cheap out with a dryer repair.buy the slim and never look back.better this than a month from now and your deep in a season.sucks none the less

I was told this is not a real fix as it will work for like 24hrs at best then it will die again is this true?

It doesn't work. You have to refurbish it. Heat sensors need to be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and then re-pasted with thermal paste. You can fix it yourself. Pretty simple. I fixed an old 40GB PS3 I used to have back in 2010.
