Twins Make it Six Straight

Minneapolis (AP) - The Twins are feasting on their easy schedule so far this month as they have swept Kansas City, Baltimore, and Seattle and split 1 of 2 with Detroit in May making them a total of 9-1 on the month thus far. It's not likely that they will keep it up throughout the rest of the month, however, as after the next 3 game set with the Tigers they have to travel to New York for a 3 game series, followed by 3 against the White Sox. They then head back home to face Milwaukee and Boston so it's good that they're playing as well as they are now.

As for the game, it wasn't much of one. Liriano sailed through yet another improving his record to 5-0 on the season. 4 different Twins drove in 1 run in the game.
