Are there any 2x2 spread formations, or empty formations that I can easily use 12 (2 TE) personnel? I like the idea of coming out in what looks like run-heavy personnel, hopefully getting base defensive personnel in response, then spreading the defense out.

I would try Spread Y-Slot and check the formation sub packages. It may have a TE Slot sub package that adds a 2nd TE. If it doesn't, you could use Y/Triangle to manually sub in the 2nd TE to whichever WR slot you want him in. There are probably other spread formations that have a TE split out wide as well, but that is one that I use regularly.

Re: EA CFB 25 Custom Playbook Thread

I'm 5 seasons into my Notre Dame dynasty and I use their default playbook. I'm looking to add some formations and plays that play more like their real life counterparts. I need suggestions for more QB runs and more plays that stack receivers on one side of the field.

Re: EA CFB 25 Custom Playbook Thread

Is this formation in the game? Or something similar? Specifically where the RBs are lined up side by side with one behind the QB.

Split backs (I think it’s called) would be pretty close and should be in that playbook I made. It’s more of a passing formation with the plays than running. I want to say also got one with 3 WR and 3 RB

I was looking at that and unfortunately not exactly what I'm looking for. RBs are both offset from the QB on it.

EA has typically called that formation Near or Far. I wish it was in the game. Need more under center formations and more plays from them.

Re: EA CFB 25 Custom Playbook Thread

I am having the same issue. I created a custom playbook with only one formation and a hand full of plays just to check. Nothing showing up when I use that custom playbook in Dynasty mode.
