Even something as simple as charting run and pass calls from different personnel groups and configurations would be a great thing to have.

Older versions of Madden absolutely do this. However, I’ve seen enough intelligent behavior from CPU defenses in CFB 25 to believe that nothing as egregious is happening here, at least not to the extent that All Madden difficulty is known to cheat.

For example, I was watching my brother play a game the other day where he kept spamming speed out hot routes against off coverage. Eventually, the CPU picked up on this behavior and in response called man coverage from a Cover 4 shell, undercut the out route, and picked him off.

Next week, was up 17-3 at halftime vs University of Miami. Shut them down all 2nd half and won 31-17 (one of their scores was a pick 6).

There hasn't been any logic that fully dictates what happens. In Madden a turnover almost always resulted in a TD for the CPU unless you made a play as a user. I get stops all the time after turnovers in CFB. Same with the last 2 minutes. In Madden, it's almost impossible to keep a team from driving in the last 2 minutes barring a user play. In CFB, I make stops on 2 minute drives all the time.

The CPU will learn tendencies, it's built into the game so if you run the same 4 concepts the entire game (and also don't rotate d-lineman because they run out of pass rush points), then you are going to get beat up in the 2nd half.
Based on the numbers you provided both teams scored x3 - x4 as many points in the 2nd half.

This is EXACTLY what happens. Wanna test the theory? Audible, they’ll audible to the EXACT perfect defense. Audible back, they’ll go back.

I love this idea. On the original subject, I tested this theory out by going deep shots in the 2nd half after only throwing screens and drags in the 1st half. Suddenly, in the 2nd half, I couldn’t complete a pass. I hit a deep shot or two but no consistency. Meanwhile the underneath stuff was also taken away and the runs too. They had it all blanketed.

I've definately been fooled by the CPU disguising coverage and ruining my pre-snap read. I had to go back and look at replay and the previously play they called and low and befold they straight up fooled me.

I wonder how much of it goes game to game in Dynasty. In my UF dynasty I've been pounding the ball with a lot of inside run plays. I played Miss. St in my last game and they were clearly sellig out vs. the run. Which did open them up to play action. I'm with you I don't see anything egregious happening here.

To be fair deep shots by their very nature are low percentage plays.
