D- Playing Time deal breaker for some seniors

I think he’s saying that during the season, seniors show as D- playing time. I’ve seen it in my dynasties as well, they’re starters but show a D- as playing time and it’s a “deal breaker.” However, they do not show up between weeks as players at risk of transfer because they are seniors.

I think it is a glitch. They get a D- playing time because they will be gone the following year… and therefore will get zero playing time so it shows as a D-

Overall it’s a non issue. I’ve had multiple seniors with this during the season. They finish their career and graduate and all is well.

What OP's talking about: One glitch makes it so another glitch can't be exploited.

The confusion many have had is a result of OP not explaining (or maybe not being aware of) the glitch/exploit at play.

If you create a new coach to control another team after the season ends, it automatically loads up with the "encourage transfer" screen, regardless of where you are in the off-season.

For example, if you're on the "players leaving" week, go into dynasty members, create a new coach, and take control over a second team, you can now encourage anyone on that roster to transfer BEFORE portal recruiting happens. And because it's a glitch, this includes seniors who otherwise have no eligibility left.

All players you encourage to transfer this way will now end up in the recruiting pool. So you can basically reinvent the concept of "eligibility" and have seniors come back for a bonus year. And then you can do it again with the same player the next year, too, by taking control over their new team and encouraging them to transfer again, which allows them to repeat their senior season again, etc. (This even works with players the game says are declaring for the draft; because you encourage them to transfer before the draft, they come back to school and enter the portal instead.)

(I have previously used this glitch/exploit to force more players into the portal because I find the existing system too limiting. WAY more players should transfer, so I decided to go into every major program that was oversigning and preemptively make cuts for them so at least those players were up for grabs and not just assigned alphabetically after recruiting was over. But after trying it once, it's just way too tedious to do at scale.)

The issue OP is having: The glitch that shows some seniors as having a D- rating for the playing time deal breaker carries over after you exploit them into the transfer portal, which locks out every single team. It doesn't matter for 99.99% of scenarios in this game. Their deal breaker shows they want to leave, but they have to anyway, so it doesn't matter ... unless you want to cheat them an extra year of eligibility, in which case that bug gets in your way.

tl;dr OP is trying to use an exploit to force Ward, Sanders, Sanders, and Higgins into the portal, but a separate glitch makes it not work.
