"Tunes"

Nah, they went in the complete opposite direction based on the videos I've seen. Hopefully they can truly fix it for CFB26.

Today’s update features a boost to option based offenses with tuning to the pitch mechanic.

This means you will have more consistent success when running option pitch plays in #CFB25

Has anyone tested options now from shotgun. I already find (found) them really REALLY strong as is(was). They weren’t broken, but to be honest, they were close. As someone who calls a lot of plays with option pitches (prolly close to 10 per game) I’m worried that if they made them even stronger it could break the game for me by making it too easy.

I don’t wanna download the latest patch if that’s the case, so I’d love it if someone else that has the patch could let me know how effective they are now.

Thanx in advance!

FWIW, here are some of the more specific plays I’m curious about (all from various shotgun formations):
Speed option
Load option
Motion load option
Wr motion option
Wr slot option

Re: 3/6/25 Title Update

I don't use the shotgun in my offense, but I'll test the pitches out in detail this weekend. I did play a game last night with the updated patch, but I was on the road with a 74 overall QB vs a top 10 team so only called like 1 option.

This was overdue IMO. Stray option pitches that travel 30 yards downfield were a tad much....

lol yea very, I had created a in house rule where anytime those happened. I got to run the single best play in the entire game to get those yards back (pistol train- power option)

Is anyone else seeing more HB fumbles after the patch ? I rarely saw any before and I’ve saw several in 2 games now
