Nope. Good riddance to all of them. I can only take so much stupdity in one place.

The boards tend to go down during the summer, with little children getting online.

It bothers me to read a lot of the posts from people who obviously don't have any such complexes. Some of the criticisms are so petty, I ask myself why I even bother to read it. These initial round of posts are the same each year. The same posed questions, the same irrational responses. What holds true though is waiting it out, and realizing by August 1, the true players are still here and the attention-span challeged are off to the next game.

So even though there isn't an official roster of true gamers, you all know who you are.

You are also right, I shouldn't base it so much on low post count as much as the low quality of the post, but I tend to see a link between annoying posters and small post counts.

I agree with you man. Also just because I don't post doesn't mean I don't have smething useful to add to the forum. 10,000 post or 1 post we're all equal, I wish you guys would realize that.

Re: Does it bother anyone?

Do I count as one of these "one and done" guys you talk about? I am here at OS all the time. Just depends for which game. In the late winter/early spring, its for baseball. In the summer, it's for football. In the fall it's for WWF.

Plus I post elsewhere and I try to link the boards to info I find somewhere else for all gamers to enjoy, regardless of where they are at.

MVPmods.com - 1,200
MaddenMania - 45 (just signed up)
Football Utopia - ? (they do not show how many you've posted)
IGN - 700 (stopped going after I found OS and MVPmods... IGN is too childish and loaded with people who just flame)
GameSpot - ?

I am a busy poster and I like to think I have something to contribute just as much as the next guy.

Doesnt bother me, isnt that what OS is here for. If they only want to stick around for 06 then that is fine.

It doesn't bother me at all. If they want to post while waiting on the game, then spend all their time playing, thats fine with me.

Of course it doesn't bother me. This is a public site/forum that anyone can and should use. There is tons of great and useful information located here. It's designed for people to get information on sports videogames and that's what a majority of people use it for. Being a member at OS does not mean that you have to be a videogame-aholic or waste your free time whoring OS like all us regulars do.
