How about some advice inside the 5?

I always have trouble throwing inside the 5, always seems to lead to an INT. Pretty much stick to the ground game. HB slam out of the Ace-Big Twins formation is my money play and the options in the SG 2 Back Slot work well. Only passes I have success with are outs, but if their in a zone I just tuck it and run with my QB.

One factor is the psychic defense. Come out of the huddle w/a run call in a 3 WR set & the D will be in a goalline formation. Call a pass & they'll be in another set. I've found calling pass in a slot formation & then audibling to a run works.

I always run plays inside the 5 from my goal line set. Both play action plays work very well, although the rollout is better since you're less likely to get sacked. I will sometimes run straight up the gut to set up the pass, but rarely score on these unless I'm at the 1. When running passing plays I always seem to get 2 TE's against 1 defender, resulting in an easy TD.
