there is recruiting to do just about every week during the season, you'll get a few recruits during the season, but i'd say the majority will still come postseason,

Yes! You still have a chance especially if you have an upcoming visit for the recruit. Still, it's high risk because even if you put 6 or 7 hours into hard selling him (when trying to get him to #1 interest) you could definitely lose him. It really depends on the circumstance. If they have given another school a soft verbal you may not want to risk it, but if they haven't given any school a soft verbal it might just be worth it IF you can afford to spend that many hours on one recruit.

All in season bro....and yeah it can be a bit overwhelming but the more we learn about quick call it may help ease the stress of constantly recruiting every week....including bye weeks...

I'd still love an option to go back to just recruiting in the 5 weeks of the offseason...but I won't hold my breath...I like recruiting but I don't like it when Its about 75% of my gameplay.

So I've been playing this game since release and just, like within the last 90 seconds, found out about quick reordering of your recruiting board. I generally keep my board sorted by who's most interested in playing for my team. I went to hit L1 for a quick search to find another C and hit R1 for whatever reason and the 'REORDER RECRUITING BOARD' dialogue box came up.

so say i have to schedule the events for a recruit but only have 1 very good and the rest are unknown or avg....am i better off just checking the one very good or is that like a waste of the other two activities?

I have a pretty simple strategy...

• My recruiting is primarily based on Quick Call (Divide 600 minutes/# of prospects on board)
• I only manual call when a guy is ready to visit then quick call every one else (Divide remaining minutes/# of prospects not contacted
• Offer once someone else has offered, if not before, to keep me even with my competition
• Sort board based on needs

Works well seemingly. I've got 3 commits heading into the Bye week before the Army-Navy game with my 4-7 Army team. I've got guys listing us as #1 after working my way up their list. Can't complain.

From the time pre-season starts, you have access to the whole database of recruits for the entire season. It isn't split into two parts like PS2 was. You have to stay on top of it week in and week out.
