Also, why is Iowa's D not one of the best in the nation? There is no way their offense should be rated higher. I know the community roster makers will fix this, but EA is pretty terrible at this.
It's been pretty clear that EA has slighted Iowa the past few years... and this is coming from a Cyclone fan.

What have we shown to be a 6? A 5 is as high as we should be. I could see a 4 as a possibility just because the past few seasons. But a 5 is a great fit for us.

Now Notre Dame being a 6... yea, thats completely wrong. I think its because Lou Holtz does all the ratings every year. Notre Dame has not been much since the 80's. They should be a 4 in my opinion. If you won a championship in your first year in a dynasty, then had a run like Notre Dame has had from 89 to present, you would definitely not be a 5 or 6* school.

Everywhere I look, people are bashing UNC. They were a 3 star 2 years ago in the game. I'd say they're a 4* based on their coach more than the school. I'd put them as one of those 3/4 right in the middle teams right now. They play good this year, they'd be a 4. They underachieve, and they're a 3.

As a Notre Dame fan, I think it can reasonably be dropped to 5 at this point. It pains me to say so, but that time has come. Had Weis resurrected the school as hoped, then they'd have retained 6, but I don't think they deserve it anymore.

Then again, I'm sure conferences will be making all sorts of concessions to get them should they ever chose to join a conference, so maybe I'm wrong.

Prestige is not solely about what you've won. I agree 6 is too high at this point, but the fact is that Notre Dame is still the most popular college football team in the country. Whether you like it or not, it is. The Cowboys haven't won a championship since 1993, are they not among the NFL's most prestigious franchises? History counts for a lot, and in college football perhaps more than anywhere else in sports. 22 years since their last championship, and they're still the most accomplished program in the history of college football... that has to count for something.

What annoys me is that I will go 9-3 and lose a Bowl game in year 1 of dynasty, and I'll drop to a 5. If Notre Dame does the exact same thing in real life, they'll still be a 6 next year and the hype for ND will reach an all-time high. Doesn't make much sense the way they assign prestige vs. the way they've programed it to perform over time in franchise mode.

Arkansas hasn't done crap in the last 20 years. Why do they deserve more than 3*?

I think 5 is still too high for ND.
